What We Do
TEAM BUILDING
While
our preferred mode of initially bringing people together is the community
building model, many clients are faced with immediate challenges that require
a team building strategy.
Team
building offers the opportunity to focus on creating a group dynamic that
supports an agreed upon set of tasks resulting in goals that are foreseeable
given the facilitation.
Team
building is an important component for companies facing challenges where a
concerted effort is needed to face both long term and short term opportunities
and to bring groups together that might otherwise not organize.
What
is unique in our approach to building teams is the addition of some of the
underlying components of community building – particularly those components
which stress collaboration, listening skills and respect for others.
Our goals, in the context of a client’s stated purpose for building a team, are to invigorate the process, invite curiosity and build greater understanding among participants, so as to create a sense of longer term mutuality in potential future work amongst team members.
